 Whimsical, tumbling displays, the larger the better is what I love to do best, with what I can find on the headland as well as using traditional country style flowers, to create something a little different. I decided to learn more about my craft and enrolled on an intensive floristry course at the Covent Garden Academy of Flowers in which I learnt so much, and with still much more to learn.

 I am Hannah, a Bespoke Floral Designer for Weddings and Events. I’m a Guernsey girl and after living in London for the past 10 years i’ve returned home.

With a background in installation design, my style is sculptural and contemporary, taking inspiration from the art world and favouring pastel palettes with pops of colour.  

I'm an ethical florist using as little plastic as possible in my designs and will always opt to reuse and recycle.  

 Ilsa Designer Flowers was started by Ilze Alka, a floral designer based in Guernsey with over 20 years of international experience and the original founder of Avenue Flowers. Mainly concentrating on her passion of wedding flowers, corporate flower displays, event flowers and Christmas and other seasonal decorations we do what we do because we love to create the wow factor. We hand-pick the freshest flowers and love to explore as many different styles, textures and colours as our imagination can dream up.
